Habit Farming Workshop // Common Ground Center, 473 Tatro Rd, Starksboro VT

Join me in the second annual Habit Farming Business Retreat (formerly and probably still called Hippo Camp Live). I've changed up the format a bit this year. Day one is open to any and all farmers and will cover the Habit Farming business review method, will include a delicious lunch, and will conclude with farmer - driven discussions. In the evening a smaller group of farmers will stick around for dinner, a sleep over in the gorgeous Common Ground Center's Eco Lodge, and will convene in the morning for an all-day business retreat. We will dive into each farm's most pressing "disappointments" and will create plans to work towards solutions in the 2026 season. This will be largely self-driven research and discussion time dedicated to working "on" rather than "in" your business, but we will break a few times to discuss as a group to share resources. Last year we found that it was incredibly beneficial to stay on-site because discussions ran late into the night, so it's recommended that participants in Day 2 reserve a night in the Eco Lodge.

The workshop site is conveniently next door to my farm (Footprint Farm), which you will be welcome to visit on either day.
